Terms & Licence

The app
Cartage is a macOS application licensed (not sold) to you by Flavr Web Dev Ltd (company number 14994358), registered in England and Wales, for a one-time fee after a free trial. These terms form the agreement between you and Flavr Web Dev Ltd.
Free trial
Cartage is free to use with full features for 7 days. After the trial, a valid licence key is required to keep using it.
Your licence
On payment you receive a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual licence to install and use Cartage for your own personal use, on the number of Macs permitted by your licence (managed through your licence key). The licence covers the current major version and any updates we release for it.
What you may not do
- Share, resell, redistribute, sublicense, or publish your licence key or the app.
- Work around the trial, the licence check, or the activation limit.
- Reverse-engineer the app, except to the limited extent the law allows.
Delivery & payment
Your licence key is delivered by email immediately after payment. Prices are shown at checkout in GBP and processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record, who also handle any applicable VAT/sales tax and your invoice. Prices may change at any time; you pay the price shown when you buy.
Updates
Free updates to the current major version are included and delivered through the app's built-in updater. We may offer paid major upgrades in future. We intend to keep improving Cartage but do not guarantee specific updates, support response times, or continued availability.
Provided as-is — risk
Cartage reads the progress information macOS already exposes and displays it — it does not modify your files or your transfers. It is nonetheless provided "as is" and used at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flavr Web Dev Ltd is not liable for any data loss, downtime, or damage arising from Cartage or your use of it.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, loss of data, loss of profit, or business interruption. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence).
Your cancellation rights
Your licence key is digital content supplied immediately on purchase. By buying and activating it you ask us to supply it at once and acknowledge that you lose the 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 — and remember you can trial Cartage free for 7 days first. See our Refund Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Questions: support@flavrapps.com.
